LOUISVILLE, Ky. - First-year women's golf coach, Whitney Young laid out her team's schedule for the 2019-20 season Wednesday. The Louisville Women's Golf team will play in nine regular-season tournaments and play host to two.

Young's inaugural season starts up north September 9-10 at the Minnesota Invitational. This is the third-consecutive season the Cards start things off outside of Minneapolis.
The Cardinals will hit the road for three straight weeks traveling to the Mason Rudolph Championship outside of Nashville September 20-22, then it's off to Norman, Oklahoma for the Schooner Fall Classic September 27-29, and they wrap up the trip in Medinah, Illinois a the Illini Women's Invitational October 7-8. On October 18-20, the Cardinals host the 16th annual Cardinal Cup at the UofL Golf Club in Shelbyville.
The Battle of the Bluegrass State dual match against Kentucky doesn't have a date or location yet, but it will happen in the spring. The Cards have won the past two battles and lead the all-time series 4-1.
Louisville will host the Moon Golf Invitational in February in Melbourne, Florida at the Duran Golf Club. It's the third straight season for the Cards hosting this tournament.
The ladies will get a month off before hitting the links again March 13-15 for the Clover Cup in Mesa, Arizona. The regular season wraps up with back-to-back tournaments, first the Evans Derby Experience March 27-29 in Auburn, Alabama, and then the Grove Cup in West Point, Mississippi April 7-8.
The ACC Championship will be April 23-25 in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. The NCAA regionals begin two weeks later May 11-13 at one of four sites:
- Athens, Georgia
- Notre Dame, Indiana
- Pullman, Washington
- Raleigh, North Carolina
The Cardinals made their sixth straight NCAA Regional appearance in 2019, the longest streak in program history. Louisville will host an NCAA Regional next year in May 2021.
The 2020 NCAA National Championship takes place at Grayhawk Golf Club May 22-27 in Tempe, Arizona.
