KENTUCKY — Spectrum News 1’s Mario Anderson talks with Republican Attorney General candidate, Russell Coleman.

Coleman is challenging Democrat Ret. Col. Pamela Stevenson in Kentucky’s 2023 general election campaign. Coleman is a former U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky, and received his nomination to the position from President Donald Trump and was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

Stevenson, is a current member of the General Assembly, representing part of Jefferson County in the Kentucky House of Representatives since 2021. Both Stevenson and Coleman did not appear on Kentucky’s primary ballot in May because the two candidates were unopposed for their party’s nomination.
