LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In five weeks, Kentuckians will head to the polls to vote in a number of statewide and local races.

All eyes continue to remain on the race for governor. Democrat Andy Beshear is running for another four-year term and is going up against Republican challenger and current Attorney General, Daniel Cameron.

Spectrum News 1 invited both candidates to take part in a live debate on Oct. 3, 2023. Cameron accepted, but Beshear declined our invitation to participate.

Mario Anderson spoke with Cameron about where he stands on issues and find out, if elected how his administration would differ from Gov. Andy Beshear's.
