“It’s huge this year,” said Laura Thurman, the founder of Morgan’s Mission. “We have had so many organizations that have come together and supported us in doing this. It’s amazing.”

Morgan’s Mission put together 23 large bags filled with essential products such as blankets, snacks, toiletries and Narcan. It was in honor of Thurman’s late daughter, Morgan Lewis, who died at 23 from fentanyl poisoning in 2022.
