There has been no shortage of stories for the team so far this offseason. Following the Sept. 30 death of franchise legend Pete Rose, the team announced the hiring of three-time Manager of the Year Terry Francona just four days later after 11 seasons with the Cleveland Guardians. The team also traded for starting pitcher Brady Singer last month while sending second baseman and 2021 NL Rookie of the Year Jonathan India to the Kansas City Royals, in addition to outfielder Joey Wiemer.
The Reds finished 77-85 in 2024, good for fourth place in the NL Central. They're led by the likes of young stars shortstop Elly De La Cruz, outfielder Spencer Steer and starting pitcher Hunter Greene.
