LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Givaudan has established mobile office hours at United Crescent Hill Ministries. Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 19, company representatives and the third-party contractor handling the structural damage assessments will be available from 7 to 9 p.m. The church is at 150 South State Street.
Residents and business owners will speak directly to the company and the contractor regarding the property and to have their claims questions answered.
The company asks that those attending any of the scheduled sessions bring a photo ID and proof of address. Givaudan said it wants to keep track of the needs and what has been committed. The company says the focus will be on those immediately affected by the Tuesday, Nov. 12 explosion.

The company said in a news release it would post more information and updates on the Clifton County Council and Metro Councilman Andrew Owen’s Facebook page.
“I’m working with the Mayor and Givaudan officials to quickly arrange these office hours, enabling the community to get answers to specific questions about property damage, cleanup, and future steps,” said Owen. “Please share this information with your neighbors and those impacted by the recent incident.”
A phone number and a website have been established to report damage. The number is (800) 856-3333.
Two people died in the explosion. The ATF believes the cause of the explosion was a cooking vessel. The ATF said a tank heats up product but there wasn’t proper ventilation, likely causing the explosion. The ATF said it is an accident, but the investigation continues.
