CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — No. 4 Louisville volleyball (21-3, 13-3 ACC) capped off a perfect, 3-0 road trip and extended its win streak to five matches Sunday afternoon, sweeping Boston College (25-21, 25-18 and 25-8).

The Cardinals had a season-high 10 aces and finished the match with a .371 hitting percentage. Outside hitter Charitie Luper had a career-high three aces, adding nine kills and three blocks. Middle blocker Reese Robins finished with seven kills and three blocks. Libero Elena Scott had three aces while defensive specialist Kamden Schrand added two.

Set one saw Louisville break a 15-all tie, thanks to kills from Anna DeBeer and Robins, along with an Eagles service error. A DeBeer kill gave the Cardinals their first set point, putting Louisville up 24-20. After a block error cut the Cardinals' lead to three points, a Sofia Maldonado Diaz kill helped Louisville take the first set 25-21.

Louisville began set two up 6-1 before kills from DeBeer, Luper and Robins and an ace from Scott gave the Cardinals their biggest lead of the set at 16-8. The Eagles then went on an 8-2 scoring run to cut Louisville's lead to 18-16 before momentum swung the Cardinals' way. After going up 23-18, Louisville took the second set with set point from a Robins kill before a Luper kill sealed the set win 25-18.

The Cardinals had no trouble getting past the Eagles in set three, thanks to seven aces and a dominant .471 hitting percentage for a 25-8 win.

Up next for Louisville is a two-match homestand, beginning Friday, Nov. 15 against Duke. First serve is 7 p.m.
