LEXINGTON, Ky. — Representatives from all 30 NBA teams will descend on the historic Memorial Coliseum in Lexington Oct. 7 for Kentucky men's basketball's 10th annual Pro Day.

The event provides organizations with an up-close look at the Wildcats' roster and is a warmup before the annual Big Blue Madness, set for Oct. 11 at Rupp Arena, giving fans another opportunity to see their first glimpse of new head coach Mark Pope's team. Kentucky was the first program in the country to host an annual Pro Day, which started in Oct. 2014. 

Fans can stream the event through SEC Network+, which will air live from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. EDT. 

Pope's team features a mix of six fifth-year players, one senior, one junior, one sophomore and three freshmen. The team's veterans combined have played in 845 collegiate games and scored nearly 8,000 points, with Ansley Almonor, Lamont Butler, Andrew Carr and Amari Williams all being 1,000-point scorers.

UK Athletics encouraged fans interested in season tickets to sign up for the men's basketball season ticket lottery. Pricing information is available on UK Athletics' website

After two exhibition games, the Wildcats open the 2024-25 regular season Nov. 4 against Wright State at home for the first of 13 nonconference matchups. They begin SEC play Jan. 4, 2025, against Florida. Kentucky will face all 15 SEC foes at least once and has an 18-game conference slate with the additions of Oklahoma and Texas. Former coach John Calipari and the Arkansas Razorbacks will visit Rupp Arena Feb. 1, 2025.
