LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Basketball with a side of fun will return to the commonwealth in Jan. 2025 as the Harlem Globetrotters are set to make two Kentucky stops on their upcoming World Tour. 

With stars like Hammer, Bulldog, Thunder, TNT, Torch and Cheese taking the court, the world-famous troupe will take on the Washington Generals Friday, Jan. 17, 2025 at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville and Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025 at Rupp Arena in Lexington.

Since 1926, the Globetrotters have thrilled audiences worldwide with their dynamic athleticism, epic dunks and jaw-dropping trick shots. They were inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002 and have entertained millions in more than 124 countries and territories across six continents. Their impact has stretched beyond the court, as the U.S. State Department coined them "Ambassadors of Goodwill" in 1951 for their efforts to drive social responsibility. 

The Globetrotters are set to celebrate their centennial in 2026 and encourage fans to share their passion for the team on social media with #DearHarlemGlobetrotters or write to them at info@harlemglobetrotters.com. Fans can also shop from their online merchandise collection. 

Tickets for both shows go on sale Monday, Sept. 30 and are available on Ticketmaster. Louisville fans can also get their tickets in-person at the KFC Yum! Center box office Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., which range from $38 to $139, while Lexington fans can get theirs at the Central Bank Center box office Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 4 p.m.
