LEXINGTON, Ky. — Racing enthusiasts can soon get their fill at Keeneland's 2024 Fall Meet, set for Oct. 4 through Oct. 26, with tickets going on sale Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 9 a.m. EDT.

The Fall Meet begins with Fall Stars Weekend, which offers $5.8 million in stakes purses and features eight stakes included in the "Breeders' Cup Challenge Series: Win and You're In." Winners will earn automatic starting positions and free entry into the 41st Breeders' Cup World Championships Nov. 1-2 at Del Mar.

"With our beautiful fall landscape as the backdrop, the atmosphere at Keeneland creates an experience for our horsemen and fans that is second to none."

A variety of ticket options for dining, Grandstand Reserved Seating and General Admission are available. Attendees must purchase tickets online via tickets.Keeneland.com/racing for easy entry and to ensure attendance on preferred dates as tickets often sell out, the track said.

Cash and walk-up purchases are not accepted at the main gates on race days. Season passes, which offer general admission throughout the meet, are available to purchase prior to opening day. 

Here's a look at Fall Meet ticket pricing:

  • General Admission: Wednesday/Thursday tickets are $7; Friday/Saturday/Sunday tickets are $10; Fall Stars Weekend tickets are $15. Children 12 and under are free.
  • General Admission Fall Meet Season Passes: $50. Passes are pre-sold until Oct. 3.
  • Grandstand Reserve Seats: Wednesday/Thursday seats are $15; Friday/Saturday/Sunday seats are $25; Fall Stars Weekend tickets are $30. Price includes General Admission. 

Tailgating on The Hill will also be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the meet. Spectators can watch racing and football on a jumbo TV and place their bets in a wagering tent while enjoying live music and food trucks. No tickets or reservations are required. 

Keeneland has increased the purses for five stakes races during the 2024 Fall Meet by a combined total of $800,000, bringing the total purse for all 22 stakes races held over the 17-day meet to a record-setting $9.85 million.

The increases are led by $300,000 to double the value of the Bryan Station (G3), a race for 3-year-olds at 1 mile on the turf, to $600,000, Keeneland said. Also increasing in value are the Coolmore Turf Mile (G1), by $250,000 to $1.25 million; Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1), by $150,000 to $750,000 and two stakes that were upgraded this year: the Bank of America Valley View (G2), by $50,000 to $350,000, and the Perryville (G3), by $50,000 to $300,000.
