LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Hank the Horse is in Louisville this weekend. The horse is the name sake of For Hank’s Sake, which was named the National Association of Legal Assistants as the 2024 charity of the year.

Hank will be at the downtown Louisville Marriott today from 10:30am-2:30pm for photos. 

In 2011 - Hank was rescued after being abandoned in a field.

The charity – For Hank’s Sake  was formed after his rescue.  The goal is to help foster inspiration and empower kids in vulnerable populations through horses and literacy.

"Weve been spreading our message of joy, kindness, giving back sharing, being kind to others leading up to our event here where people get to meet live Hank the Horse," said Tammi Reagan or "Hank’s mom". 

Hank has traveled over 15 thousand miles across the state for his community service and collected and donated over 100,000 dollars.

Last year For Hank’s Sake wrote a children’s book to help spread his story.
