LOUISVILLE, Ky. — For the third year in a row, the Louisville Free Public Library has surpassed over one million digital check outs. They celebrated the milestone with their annual list of most borrowed books, eBooks and audiobooks.
LFPL announced they had a record-breaking 1.4 million eBooks and downloadable audiobooks checked out in 2023. Their total checkouts, including print books, eBooks and audiobooks, topped 3.6 million in 2023 — with eBooks and audiobooks accounting for more than a third of that total.
