LEXINGTON, Ky. — One thing is certain in football season, it’s never too early to think about basketball season.
The University of Kentucky has released the new posters for both the men’s and women’s basketball teams. The new posters will be first available at Big Blue Madness on Friday, Oct. 13 at Rupp Arena.
The posters will be available everywhere beginning Saturday, Oct. 14. at Kroger locations around the state. Unlike past years, the posters will not be available at the UK Athletics Administration offices. Kroger stores are the only locations fans can go to get one.
The men’s poster features the team together on the court at Rupp Arena. Because of production deadlines, Zvonimir Ivišić is not featured on the men’s poster.
The women’s poster also highlights the entire team, but it celebrates the UK fight song with the tagline: “Til The Battle is Won.” It also celebrates the team’s 50th anniversary.
