WILMORE, Ky. — The second annual Welcome Autumn Festival at the Bryan House, a special events venue, was held throughout the weekend with a wide range of activities for the entire family to enjoy.
There were over 50 vendors. Most of them were selling art and crafts items with the goal of supporting small businesses. The booths stayed busy as people walked around to check out what was for sale.
Owners of old, classic cars got to show them off for the festival’s car show. There was also a table set up for children to paint with other games in the kids’ area.
“We sat down as a family and kind of determined what the family would like to do and so my kids are in charge of the kids events, my wife is in charge of the arts and crafts, and I think we have, I guess about four or five dozen arts and crafts vendors here today, and I got to oversee the classic cars so together it’s a great family event,” said Jeb Rand, the owner of the Bryan House, which hosts events such as weddings, group meetings, and corporate functions.
The festival supported the community in some other ways as well, with the owners of Bryan House advertising local hotels for out-of-towners to stay at on their website.
