LOUISVILLE, Ky. — UPS announced it expects to hire over 2,600 seasonal employees in the Louisville area ahead of the holiday season.

Positions include full- and part-time positions, primarily package handlers, delivery drivers and commercial Driver’s license drivers. UPS said seasonal hourly pay rates range from $21 per hour for package handlers to $23 per hour for package delivery drivers. The jobs also come with benefits, opportunities for promotion and paid education for employees who stay with the company.

According to UPS, the hiring process online can take as little as 20 minutes, and 80% of positions do not require an interview.

Nationally, UPS expects to hire over 100,000 seasonal employees for the holiday season.
