LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Beginning Wednesday, June 28 at noon, the city of Louisville will open three free sites for tree debris drop off for Jefferson County residents.
The drop off sites are for tree debris only and for residents only, not businesses. Residents will be asked to provide their address.
The locations of the three drop off sites will be:
535 Meriwether Avenue
(Across the street from the Solid Waste Office)
Public Works Yard
595 N Hubbards Lane
Public Works Yard
10500 Lower River Road
The drop off centers will be open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28. After that, they will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Thursday, June 29 to Saturday, July 8. All sites will be closed Sunday, July 2 and Tuesday, July 4.
Contractors and businesses can use the Waste Reduction Center for the usual fee.
