BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Kentucky’s 2024 Southeastern Conference oponents were been announced after the conference released the 2023-24 conference matchups on Monday. Conference play tips off on Jan. 6 and runs through March 9.

Each SEC team plays the other 13 teams at least once during league play. They also face off against three permanent conference opponents a second time, with the remaining two games changing every year.

Kentucky’s grueling conference schedule will include home contests against Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

On the road, the Wildcats will head to Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.

When all is said and done, the Cats will play Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt twice next season.

The SEC Tournament returns to Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., on March 13-17, 2024.

Kentucky, who was once a perennial powerhouse in the conference, has faced tougher and tougher competition in recent years. A record-tying 10 SEC teams received postseason bids last year. The eight NCAA Tournament selections tied a previous best from the conference in 2018. Two teams were also invited to the National Invitation Tournament.

In the last five seasons, the SEC has had 35 NCAA Tournament selections.

The conference said that times, dates and television information would be announced at a later date.
