  •  Denae Hahn said she and others went to get makeovers to celebrate graduating from the program and moving to a new chapter in life

  • Hahn said even though she's moving forward, she's always got a homea t LLC.

“I was at the end of my addiction and I got into rehab and then I didn’t succeed at the rehab and I went to jail and did a program in there. The program I did in jail is what brought me to Life Learning Center,” she said.

Hahn, 28, said she’s been working on turning things around for herself while in the program. Life Learning Center strives to help remove barriers and get people like Hahn back on track with career and other success.

She said she’s learned a lot through the program.

“We got to learn how to build a resume, and take better care of our health and learn how to live a more stable life,” Hahn said.

Hahn now is a graduate of the program. She said she even lined up a job for herself before graduating.

As she’s embarking on a new journey, she’s getting a new hairstyle. She and other women from the Life Learning Center program went to Vintage Salon in Ft. Mitchell to get some makeovers as they celebrated giving their life a makeover.

Stylist Lexi Taylor said it’s means a lot to play a role in a milestone like this.

“It’s so rewarding and refreshing to kind of to just kind of get them back on track and help them feel like they’re back to their normal selves,” she said.

Because, to Taylor, it’s about making people feel and look good.

Hahn will now focus on work, saving some money, and looking into a new apartment and car at some point.

“I know with Life Learning Center I’ll always be able to go back there,” she said.
