Loeser said the skills and values he learned in Louisville are similar to those required to succeed in the military. “I learned in Louisville to have a conversation and not a confrontation,” said Loeser. “This has been a beneficial tool for me in my Navy career.”

The Navy’s submarine force operates a large fleet of technically advanced vessels. These submarines are capable of conducting rapid defensive and offensive operations around the world.

“Serving in the Navy means really good job security,” said Loeser. “Also, the Navy provides excellent benefits for me and my family. My hope is to become a naval officer one day.”
