LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Jeff Brohm coaching era hosts its first game Friday, April 21 with the annual Spring Football Game.

The game is a 7 p.m. at L&N Stadium. Admission and parking for the game are free.

First-year Louisville head coach, Jeff Brohm, is back in his hometown, with his brothers Brian and Greg joining him on staff. The Cardinals are coming off an eight-win season and a win over Cincinnati in the Fenway Bowl. Fifteen starters from last year’s squad are back.
Brohm, who steered the Purdue Boilermakers for six successful seasons, brings back leading rusher Jawhar Jordan and three starters on the offensive line.

Ashton Gillotte is back. He led the nation in sacks last season with 6.0. Defensive starters Jarvis Brownlee, Quincy Riley, Josh Minkins and M.J. Griffin join Gillotte.
If you can’t make it out to the game, fans can see the game on ACCNX (ACC Network Extra). It’s a streaming platform fans can access using the ESPN App on connected streaming devices.
 
Gates at L&N Stadium will open at 6 p.m. Seats will only be available in the 100 and 200 sections of the lower bowl of the stadium. The lots for tailgating will open at 1 p.m. UofL asks fans to park in Bronze Lots B, C and D to enter the stadium through gates 1-6.
The Alley, the pregame facility across the street from L&N Stadium will open at 2 p.m. Fans wanting to refresh their UofL wardrobes will find a “Half Off Sale.” T-shirts, sweatshirts, replica game jerseys and other merchandise will be sold for half price. Live music and food trucks will entertain fans beginning at 4 p.m. The Alley Bar will begin service at 2 p.m.
The Cardinals will host seven home games this fall and season tickets are as low as $20 per game. Notre Dame and Kentucky are just two of the teams fans will see. You can go to the Cardinals website to learn more about season tickets.

The Cards will travel north on I-65 to Lucas Oil Stadium for a game against Indiana—the first match-up between these two schools since 1986. Tickets for the Sept. 16 showdown can be bought online.

RADIO SHOW

Coach Brohm will join Jody Demling Wednesday, April 19 at the Fern Creek Roosters for his radio show.

The pair will talk about the end of spring practice and the Spring Game at L&N Stadium. The show will air from 7 to 8 p.m. on 93.9 The Ville and 970 AM WGTK.

Brohm will also be joined by selected coaches to update fans on the team’s practice.
