LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky has been hit with five confirmed tornados just this week. Ed Hager, owner of Tree Care Inc., and his crew are actively helping Louisville residents recover from the storm.
Hager has been in the tree removal service for 30 years. His company is booked solid for emergency tree removal.
"We're running three crews nonstop. Approximately 20-25 jobs will be completed today," said Hager.
Tree removal services in Kentucky are swamped with work after two huge stoms hit within two weeks.
"We're working seven days a week, 16 hours a day." Said Hager.
According to the National Weather Service, trees can fall from 64 mile per hour winds. Winds this week reached over 100 miles an hour in parts of Jefferson County.
"We're hoping to get caught up on emergency work by next week," said Hager.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner, one person in Louisville was killed when a tree fell on him while he was walking his dog during the storm.
Hager's goal is to keep his crew safe and help as many Kentuckians as possible recover from the storm.
