LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The ultimate event for LEGO lovers will take place in downtown Louisville in July.

The Brick Convention will be at the Kentucky International Convention Center on July 15-16. The event will showcase professional LEGO artists from all across the nation and their creations. Galleries will be set up with life-sized and unique LEGO models. 

There will also be meet-and-greets with certain celebrities, such as the case of the LEGO Masters TV show. 

But the convention won't just showcase other creations — it'll also allow guests to put their creativity to use. Fans will have access to the Construction Zone, which has thousands of LEGO bricks where they can build. 

Other activities for guests include:

  • A place to purchase LEGO merchandise
  • An area dedicated for Star Wars fans 
  • Brick Pits that'll have thousands of pieces for fans to build with
  • The Castle Build Zone
  • The Fan Zone, which will showcase creations by local fans
