Big Blue Madness, which takes place Oct. 14, is an event many University of Kentucky fans look forward to. The spectacle, which takes place at Rupp Arena, features introductions of both the men's and women's basketball teams, practice drills, videos and more.

All patrons must get a ticket to attend, no matter their age. Tickets will be limited to two per control card at the Memorial Coliseum ticket distribution, and online orders will have a service fee. There will also be a limit of two tickets per household for online purchases. If there are duplicate orders, they will be canceled.

Tickets are not guaranteed for all fans, so it will be first come, first serve.

For those looking to campout for their tickets, campus public safety officials said fans are allowed to line up at Memorial Coliseum no earlier than Oct. 1 at 5 a.m.

This year’s camping area will be limited to:

  • Along the east side of Memorial Coliseum and the Joe Craft Center
  • Along the east entrance of the main entry way of the Craft Center
  • A designated section of the College View Lot (between Wildcat Coal Lodge and Rose Street)

Fans camping out for the Big Blue Madness ticket distribution can park at the College View or Lindenwalk lots, in addition to the Cornerstone garage beginning Sept. 30 after 5 p.m.

Additional parking includes LexPark downtown locations, supported by one of the many LexTran shuttle routes to commute to and from campus. The Rupp Arena High Street lot will be open for their daily rate and will allow overnight parking.
