“We’re working on number five, so it’s been in the family for a long time,” Bays said.
Each year, they hold a craft show in the spring and in the fall. She said the 2022 Fall Craft Show on Sept. 17-18 saw a lot of people coming to the show.
“This has been the biggest one we’ve had this weekend. We were parking people so far out into the fields,” Bays said.
People could find vendors, crafts, food and many other items for sale in tents and trucks lined up on the farm grounds. Sweet Jazz Treats Bakery was one of the vendors there. Owner Jasmine Davis said she sold cake, cake pops, brownies and more to people all weekend. She said she’s been coming back each year as the craft show gets bigger.
“The growth, the people, just seeing all the hardworking small business owners here. We continue to support one another and just continue to love one another,” Davis said.
Bays said it’s a chance for local vendors to make some more money, as well as the farm. She said she loves seeing how big it gets each year.
“It’s an overwhelming feeling of wow people want to come and experience what the farm is kind of like and the crafts. It’s a proud moment for the people who live here and the people who volunteer,” she said.
Bays said the family puts on more events throughout the year. More information can be found on their website.
