LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It's mid-August, and that can only mean two things: it's almost college football season and the Kentucky State Fair is back in full swing.

Hosted at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, the 11-day Kentucky State Fair celebrates all things that make Kentucky, Kentucky. Visitors can take in the sights and sounds of local livestock, horse shows, midway carnival games and all the fried food you can possibly imaging—and even some fried food you couldn't imagine.
