CINCINNATI — For the first time in 22 years, the home of the Cincinnati Bengals has a new name.

The team announced Paul Brown Stadium—dubbed "The Jungle" by fans—is no more and is now named Paycor Stadium.

Paycor, a Cincinnati-based company, has served as the team's official and exclusive HR software provider since 2018.

"Through a strategic partnership with our hometown team, the Cincinnati Bengals, we are beyond thrilled to introduce Paycor Stadium to the world," said Raul Villar Jr., CEO of Paycor, in a statement. "As Paycor continues to grow and reach customers throughout the U.S., our mission of empowering leaders to build winning teams perfectly aligns with the defending AFC Champions. As longtime fans, this is a big point of employee pride and we are honored to support our local team and build on the legacy of Paul Brown."

While the stadium takes on a new name, the team wrote in a statement that the legacy of Paul Brown, the father of Bengals owner Mike Brown, will live on forever.

"This is a move that I think my father would have agreed to. He was always for what is best for the football team," said Brown. "This partnership allows the Bengals to continue to compete at the highest level in the NFL and exemplifies our long-term commitment to the community."

Branding for the new name will be implemented over the next few months, according to the team. The Bengals plan to hold a ceremony in honor of the partnership expansion before the season begins.

The Bengals are the second AFC North team that announced a new stadium name this offseason. Pittsburgh's Heinz Field changed its name to Acrisure Stadium in a 15-year deal.
