LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Derby Festival is embracing tradition this year with the return of Kroger's Fest-a-Ville, which is set to feature eight days of concerts, family-friendly fun and more.

Now in its 14th year, Fest-a-Ville runs April 28 through May 6 on Louisville's Waterfront this year and is closed on Monday, May 2, Derby Festival organizers announced in a news release. Concerts, festive food, midway rides and even hot air balloon displays are all on the docket for the 2022 iteration.
Over 30 musicial acts with local, regional and national acclaim will take the stage during the eight days of concerts. Parker McCollum, Rob Base, The Homies and J.D. Shelburne are all slated to perform.
Admission to Fest-a-Ville is free with a 2022 Pegasus Pin. Pets and outside food or drinks are not allowed inside, organizers said.
Fest-a-Ville's crescendo peaks on Friday, May 6 with the Derby Eve Jam, where Parker McCollum—the Academy of County Music's 2022 New Male Artist of the Year—takes the stage.
Country won't be the only genre on display at the fest. Hip hop legend Rob Base is performing, known for his hits "It Takes Two and "Get on the Dance Floor."

- Friday, April 29: The Homies (the Louisville group is part of the music collective, Private Garden, co-founded by Jack Harlow) with co-headliner Kyle Hume

- Saturday, April 30: J.D. Shelburne
- Sunday, May 1: Joslyn & The Sweet Compression with Casey Powell
- Wednesday, May 4: Tony & The Tan Lines with special guest Jameron
- Thursday, May 5: The Crashers with special guest Hawks
