“We started with a restaurant, I did a car dealership too, we've still got it but like I see this one in Chicago, California, and Florida and I said you know what let me give it a try and do one in Louisville, Kentucky,” Mohammad said.

That’s how the idea for the Chocolate and Nut Kingdom and Melt Munch came about. Mohammad offers his customers a one-of-a-kind experience, not letting anyone walk out the door before taste testing the product they go home with.

“I want the customer to make sure they like the stuff before they get to the house,” Mohammad said. “I don't want them to buy something and throw it away.”

Sweet tooths won’t go home unsatisfied at the Chocolate and Nut Kingdom and Melt Munch. You’ll find Turkish Delights, coffee, nuts and sweets from Jordan, Spain, Pakistan and Turkey.

“It's all from Turkish, Turkey, so they import them here,” Mohammad said. “Nothing we get here is from here, everything here we purchase from different countries.”

He's bringing a taste of his home and other countries without even having to leave Louisville.

“To be honest with you, it's not the people from other countries out of my country that are happy more than the people from my country for the stuff right here and you can see it for yourself,” Mohammad said.

It's something the community has been waiting for, and Mohammad is happy to finally put those wishes to rest.

Mohammad also incorporates Islamic rules into all the products sold at the Chocolate and Nut Kingdom and Melt Munch. Everything is either made with veggie or beef gelatin.
