LEXINGTON, Ky. — Spring is looking packed with performances for the whole family this year.
The Lexington Opera House on Tuesday announced the Indigo Girls and a special "Peppa Pig Live" event are coming to Lexington in April and May respectively.

The Lexington Opera House will host the Indigo Girls on Monday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. Touring on their 16th studio album after a nearly 27-year career, the folk-rock duo won a Grammy Award in 1990 and the Pell Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts in 2019.
One of the most famous animated pigs in history is also stopping by central Kentucky soon. The Opera House will host the family-friendly “Peppa Pig Live! Peppa Pig’s Adventure” on Tuesday, May 10 at 6 p.m.
The 60-minute show features the globally-beloved Peppa Pig embarking on a camping trip with her friends.
Tickets for both events go on sale Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. EST. The historic Opera House is located on Short Street in downtown Lexington.
