FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. — First lady Jill Biden will travel to Fort Campbell next week as part of her work with the White House's Joining Forces initiative.
The first lady will be meeting with the families of the soldiers deployed to Europe in support of NATO allies.
Fort Campbell is home to the 101st Airborne Division, which sent several hundred soldiers overseas in February amid rising tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
The first lady will arrive in Fort Campbell following her departure from Reno, Nev. on March 9. Her additional visits in Nevada and Arizona will focus on promoting President Joe Biden's policies that he highlighted in his State of the Union address.
Additional details surrounding the first lady's visit to Fort Campbell are expected to be released at a later date.
