Fort Campbell is home to the 101st Airborne Division, which sent several hundred soldiers overseas in February amid rising tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

The first lady will arrive in Fort Campbell following her departure from Reno, Nev. on March 9. Her additional visits in Nevada and Arizona will focus on promoting President Joe Biden's policies that he highlighted in his State of the Union address.
