LEXINGTON, Ky. — The University of Kentucky's men's basketball team will return to a traditional schedule in 2021-22 as the team unveiled its nonconference schedule Monday.

The Cats will play 13 nonconference games, beginning Nov. 9 at Madison Square Garden against Duke in the Champions Classic.
According to a release from UK Athletics, the nonconference schedule will feature nine games in Rupp Arena, two road trips and two neutral-site games. UK will showdown against the Blue Devils and Ohio State in neutral-site matchups, Notre Dame and Kansas during road trips and Louisville at Rupp Arena, among others.
On Dec. 7, Kentucky will host Southern in the inaugural Unity Series, a five-year series that will feature annual games against schools from the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The conference is made up of historically Black colleges and universities.
