LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) announced Monday that it's adding four schools to the number of COVID-19 drive-thru, rapid test sites for students, staff and families. The district said the additions are "due to increasingly heavy demand."

With Monday's announcement, the total number of sites is now 16.

  • Academy @ Shawnee, 4001 Herman St.
  • Ballard High School, 6000 Brownsboro Rad
  • Central High School, 1130 W Chestnut St.
  • Fairdale High School, 1001 Fairdale Road
  • Farnsley Middle School, 3400 Lees Lane
  • Frost/Stuart Middle School, 4601 Valley Station Road
  • Iroquois High School, 4615 Taylor Blvd.
  • Kammerer Middle School, 7315 Wesboro Road
  • Marion C. Moore School, 6415 Outer Loop
  • Seneca High School, 3510 Goldsmith Lane
  • Thomas Jefferson Middle School, 1501 Rangeland Road
  • Waggener High School, 330 S Hubbards Lane
  • Western Middle School, 2201 W Main St.
  • Western High School, 2501 Rockford Lane
  • Westport Middle School, 8100 Westport Road
  • Valley High School, 10200 Dixie Highway

Testing runs from 3-7 p.m. every Monday through Thursday, and appointments can be made online.

JCPS said it's continuing to offer voluntary testing in most district schools and buildings, in conjunction with Wild Health. More than 8,200 students and 3,100 staff have signed up for the weekly tests, the district said.
