LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Before you eat your funnel cakes, visit the livestock and ride the attractions at the Kentucky State Fair this week, there are important policies to catch up on. The fair said Monday that masks are required indoors but not outdoors, complying with Kentucky's mask requirement in state government buildings.

During weekends, the portion of Phillips Lane between Freedom Way and the interstate overpass will be temporarily closed all day on Aug. 21-22 and 28-29.
The 2021 Kentucky State Fair will run from Aug. 19-29 at the Kentucky Exposition Center. The event celebrates the best of the Bluegrass State by highlighting the commonwealth’s history, heritage and culture. The annual summertime celebration features the World’s Championship Horse Show, exhibits, livestock, food, rides, entertainment and concerts included with admission.
