LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky State Fair is set to make its triumphant return to the Kentucky Expo Center this August, and now the headlining acts for each night of the free Texas Roadhouse Concert Series have been announced. Notable performers range from country stars like Josh Turner and the Oak Ridge Boys to rock groups like P.O.D. and White Reaper.

Set to run August 19-29, the Kentucky State Fair celebrates the best of the Bluegrass state by highlighting the Commonwealth's rich history, heritage and culture. The summer celebration is known for the World's Championship Horse Show and features plenty of food, rides, livestock, exhibits and concerts included with admission.

The free concerts this year will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET on August 19 with country star Josh Turner kicking things off. The 11-day series features a diverse range of performers along the way: R&B artist Ginuwine takes the stage August 20, country-gospel quartet Oak Ridge Boys will share some tunes August 22, and the Louisville-native rock band White Reaper are headlining August 27.

  • 8/27: White Reaper (special guest: The Tommys)
  • 8/28: Jameson Rodgers (special guests: Exile and JD Shelburne)
  • 8/29: Cory Asbury (special guests: We The Kingdom and Jordan Smith)

Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. ET each night and concerts begin at 8 p.m. However on August 29, gates open at 2:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 4 p.m. The Texas Roadhouse Concert Series will be located in Parking Lot L of the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Tickets for the 117th Kentucky State Fair go on sale this July. Officials said the event will follow the recommendations of the Kentucky Healthy at Work and Healthy Events initiatives as well as the Center for Disease Control and Jefferson County Health Department. Fairgoers will be required to follow all Kentucky guidelines at the time of the event.
