LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A horse named after Breonna Taylor won a Thurby race during Kentucky Derby week. "Breonna" won the fourth race at Churchill Downs Thursday evening.
The filly is owned by Sam Aguiar, the lawyer who represented the Taylor family against the Louisville Metro Police Department. Aguiar told Spectrum News 1 that he watched the race with Taylor's mother, Tamika Palmer, and Lonita Baker.

"We're still fighting for justice for Breonna Taylor, and so anything to put a smile on our faces is good," Aguiar said.
