LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Zoo is taking education to a virtual level with "Zoo Live."

Zoo Live is connecting the Zoo's education staff and animal ambassadors to those who are learning at home. The program will provide a week of programming including art and science projects via WebEx. Every day there will be two opportunities to have a video conference with education staff and ambassadors, this includes a Q&A session about animals and activities.

The animal encounters will be a mix of live meet and greet sessions with educators and animals and pre-recorded videos. The program is targeted for kids 6 to 8 years old.

Once you register for Zoo Live, participants will get an activity book filled with printable activities, an observation journal, and instructions for games and crafts.

Zoo members will be $80 and non-members will pay $100 per household. The multiple session options start on July 20. You can register for Zoo Live online.
