LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One of the most recognizable conventions is coming back to Louisville this year. The National Street Rod Association's (NSRA) annual Street Rod Nationals will take place at the Kentucky Exposition Center on August 6-9, 2020.

For the 26th time, the show will bring an estimated 15,000 vintage automobiles to Louisville. Vehicles from around the country make the trek to Louisville each year and it is always fun for locals to see the old cars driving up and down the interstate and in neighborhoods.

The Street Rod Nationals feature every make, model, and style from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond.

This outdoor show is expected to break attendance records, even during the pandemic.

Fans will be able to take in displays and demonstrations and ogle at more than $300 million worth of vintage vehicles. Organizers promise there will be something new every day for fans. They are even promising special events geared towards women that are non-automotive related. There will be games for the kids and something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Car enthusiasts will once again be able to check out cars built by some of the top professional rod shops in the country in a special area called "Builder's Showcase" which will be in the Grand Lobby and the South Wing of the expo center. The NHRA says it is the first time all these cars will be under one roof at the same time.
