LEXINGTON, Ky. — Some may remember him as a former member of ‘The Untouchables’ who won the 1996 NCAA championship for the University of Kentucky.

Tony Delk, former basketball player, is now using his platform to raise money for the Kentucky Children's Hospital (KCH).

Giving back to the KCH is something the former basketball star did without hesitation since his two daughters have sickle cell disease and have been in and out of the hospitals for the past 15 to 16 years.

“To go back into the community, especially during these times right now where it's difficult for some, you know, just trying to survive and just try to figure it out, day to day what's gonna happen,” Delk said.

Delk is selling three custom wines sold on the Wildside Winery website and giving 15 percent of the proceeds director to the hospital. The bottle labels includethe number “00” to represent his time as a wildcat.

“You know when you have nurses and doctors and like I said put their life on the line you have to do something and get back to them so that’s what I thought when I was changing some of my wine labels,” Delk said.

Delk will continue to sell the wine through the end of the year.
