The Taylor family's attorney, Sam Aguiar, released the 911 call made by Taylor's boyfriend Kenneth Walker. In a short call that lasts no longer than 2 minutes and 40 seconds, Walker tells the operator "somebody kicked in the door and shot my girlfriend."

In the tearful call, Walker cries for help as he explains his girlfriend is shot. After Aguiar released the audio recording, Mayor Greg Fischer also released the transcript and other 911 calls from neighbors that March morning.
