KENTUCKY — Each day we’re all seeing and learning more about Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear through his daily coronavirus updates but, we know very little about his wife Britainy Beshear, that is, until now.
Kentucky First Lady Britainy Beshear joined social media this past week, sharing a picture of her family as her first post on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
The First Lady of the Commonwealth discussed several topics including what made Mrs. beshear go from a more "behind the scenes role" to a more active and public role through the use of social media.
"Well in these unprecedented times, I can certainly empathize with all the parents and grandparents and caregivers out there who are at times scrambling to find ways to keep their kids engaged and involved. So, it just seemed like a really great time to maybe offer a little bit more of a glimpse into my family and talk to the moms out there, and ya know, put our heads together and come up with some fun things we can do with our kids, while we are healthy at home," explains Britainy Beshear
