LOUISVILLE, Ky. —The Kentucky Humane Society continues to practice social distancing when it comes to pet adoption.
While all of its adoption centers remain closed, you still can provide a loving home for a cat or dog.
Virtual adoptions are being taken by appointment.
Those who are interested need to fill out an online interest form and an adoption counselor will provide you information on the animal.
KHS says you will not be able to adopt a pet until you go through a counseling session and your application is approved.
Available pets up for adoption are added online every week.
