LOUISVILLE, Ky. —  Supergroup REO Speedwagon is bringing its latest tour to Louisville's Iroquois Amphitheater in July.

For more than 50 years, the group has entertained millions around the world and sold 40 million albums.

The group formed in 1967 and has been fronted by Kevin Cronin since 1972. The hits for the band started early with such songs as "Ridin' the Storm Out" and "Sophisticated Lady." But it was the 1980 album Hi Infidelity that sent them to the top of the charts with such mega-hits as "Keep On Loving You" and "Take It On the Run." The album spent 15 weeks at No. 1 and has gone on to earn the Recording Industry Association of America's 10x Diamond Award for selling more than 10 million copies in the United States.

Cronin is joined by bassist Bruce Hall, keyboardist Neal Doughty, guitarist Dave Amato, and drummer Bryan Hitt. The band continues to entertain playing fan-favorites such as "Can't Fight This Feeling," "Time for Me to Fly," and "Keep the Fire Burning."

REO will perform at Iroquois Amphitheater on July 31, 2020. Tickets go on sale on January 17, 2020, at 10 a.m.
