LOUISVILLE, Ky. - It seems impossible but Slugger Field will celebrate 20 years downtown next year. To commemorate the occasion, the Louisville Bats announced a legacy brick program.

Personalized bricks will be laid in the area surrounding the statue of the legendary slugger, Pee Wee Reese, at Louisville Slugger Field on Main Street. The bricks will be installed before April 11, 2020, opening day.

"The Legacy Brick Program is a fantastic opportunity to become involved at Louisville Slugger Field as 2020 will be designated our ‘Year of the Fan’,” said Bats President, Vic Gregovits. “The fans will be able to memorialize their favorite Louisville Slugger Field memories by etching them in stone.”

Fans will have the chance to purchase one of three different brick styles. In addition to the brick outside the ballpark, fans will get a replica brick and certificate of recognition to have for their home or office. The replica brick will have the same message as the brick that will be laid outside the stadium. Slugger says all bricks ordered by December 1 will be shipped on or before December 24.  Fans can also buy gif certificates so the baseball fan in their life can create their brick. Bricks will start at $145 plus tax.

You can buy your brick or gift certificates online or by calling 1-888-223-0258.
