FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. - After nine months in Kuwait, 140 members of the 594th Transportation Company, 129th Combat Sustainment Support battalion, 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), are coming home Wednesday.

The soldiers were supporting Operation Spartan Shield and Operation Inherent Resolve providing transportation of supplies and equipment throughout Kuwait.

The 549th TC carried out more than 600 transportation movements, traveling more than 550,000 miles; executed 14 port debarkation missions; transported hundreds of containers to supply points all over Kuwait" and executed two field training exercises at Camp Buehring, Kuwait.

There will be a welcome home ceremony Wednesday afternoon.
