LOUISVILLE, Ky. - As the dog days of summer linger, Iroquois Park in south Louisville is looking ahead to cooler evening and fall festivities. The park has announced that tickets for its 7th annual Jack O’ Lantern Spectacular, which runs from October 8 to November 3, are now on sale.
The event features over 5,000 different Jack O’ Lanterns designed for this year’s theme of “The Four Seasons.” The pumpkins will light up the 1/3-mile trail adjacent to the Iroquois Amphitheater with vignettes set to music to enhance the themed stroll through winter, spring, summer, and fall. Nearly 100,000 guests are expected to attend in total.
The trail will be open from dusk until 11pm on Sunday through Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. The park recommends advance purchase for Fridays and Saturdays, as these popular days are expected to sell out. Friday and Saturday tickets will also now have corresponding times.
Proceeds from tickets, which range in price from $10 to $18, will benefit the Louisville Parks Foundation. For more information or to purchase tickets, guests can go to the Iroquois Amphitheater Box Office, call 502-368-5063, or visit the event’s website.
