LOUISVILLE, Ky. - 600,000 visitors converge in Louisville every year for the Kentucky State Fair and in an effort to make sure everyone gets to enjoy the rides, food, and animals, the fair is offering a number of diffrent discounts.
- EXPRESS LANES - AUGUST 15-25 - If you pre-purchase parking and admission tickets you can use express lanes at Gates 1, 4 and 6
- ADVANCE DISCOUNT ADMISSION - Adults, seniors, and children only pay $7 for advance admission instead of $10 at the gate. Children five and under are free. Discount tickets are available now until August 14 at 10 p.m. online and at Kroger stores.
- ADVANCE DISCOUNT PARKING - Early parking is available for $5. It will be $10 at the gate. You can get these online and at Kroger stores as well. Like the advance admission tickets the deadline for early parking is August 14.
- ADVANCE DISCOUNT THRILL VILLE WRISTBANDS - You can save cash for your trip to the midway by purchasing your wristbands early. Adults will pay $20 and children $12 in advance. The adult wristbands will jump $5 at the gate. The wristbands are available online.
- MILITARY SUNDAY SALUTE AUGUST 18 - Active and retired military and their families receive free admission on Sunday, August 18. There is a limit of four passes and parking is not included. Passes are available online. Thrill Ville writstbands will be available to military for $10 at the fair with a military ID.
- SENIOR DAY AUGUST 20 - Seniors 55 and over get free gate admission and parking is not included.
- CARLOAD AND KENTUCKY FARM BUREAU DAY AUGUST 22 - Admission and parking are just $20 per vehicle. Buses (12 or more passengers) on Carload Day pay $100.
The Kentucky State Fair is August 15-25 at the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center.
