LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The annual Kentucky State Fair is right around the corner, which means a slew of free concerts are coming your way. The 2019 Kentucky State Fair has announced the lineup for their Texas Roadhouse Concert Series, which includes 11 nights of concerts from August 15-25 featuring a total of 26 bands across various genres including retro pop, alternative, Christian, rock, country, and soul.
The variety of acts coming to the stage include big names like award-winning country and gospel quartet The Oak Ridge Boys, country singer Granger Smith (a.k.a. Earl Dibbles, Jr.), Mötley Crüe front man Vince Neil, and popular Christian Contemporary artist Lauren Daigle. The lineup also includes local favorites like Eddie Montgomery of Billboard chart-topping Kentucky band Montgomery Gentry and Season 16 American Idol contestant Layla Spring from Marion County.
This year, all concerts are free with paid gate admission. The 2019 Kentucky State Fair is August 15-25 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
