LOUISVILLE, Ky. - All playgrounds are not created equal. Sometimes children are left out of the fun because their abilities won't allow them to participate.  Delta Dental of Kentucky wanted to see that change.  

Last year, the company donated $200,000 to build a special playground for kids of all abilities; a place where no child is denied the chance to have fun.  This isn't the first time Delta Dental has stepped up to help kids with disabilities. The company is a sponsor of the Miracle League, a league that offers children with disabilities the chance to play in a baseball league and to be a part of a team.  The new Miracle Playground is just the next step for the company.  

Construction on the new playground began in the fall of 2018.  The new playground is located at Fern Creek Park on Ferndale Road.
