LEXINGTON, Ky. - Your love of pizza has the chance to help make a difference in the life of children who are battling critical illnesses.  Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza announced its seven Kentucky/Southern Indiana locations will host a Make-A-Wish event Saturday, April 20.  For the third year, Blaze Pizza is donating 20% of proceeds to Make-A-Wish with a goal of raising $10,000.  $10,000 ensures Blaze Pizza will be able to grant a wish for a child.

“We are thrilled to be hosting this amazing event again this year at our Kentucky and Southern Indiana locations,” said Beth Duncan, Operating Partner for Blaze Pizza in Kentucky. “At Blaze, we have a commitment to the people behind the pizza, and that includes supporting those members of our community in need.” 

“Wishes are more than just a nice thing. A wish can be a game-changer for a child battling a critical illness. The strength, hope, and transformation a wish provides our kids and their families is priceless! Right now, in Kentucky and Southern IN we have over 400 kids waiting for their wish,” said Cassidy Hyde, Development Officer, Make-A-Wish Kentucky & Southern IN Region. 

Blaze Pizza reached its $10,000 goal last year and will present that wish at one of the locations this weekend.  In addition, wish kids will receive a special gift when they go to a Blaze location. Parents just need to let the employees know their child is a wish kid.

All locations in Kentucky (Louisville, Lexington and Bowling Green) as well as Clarksville, Indiana are participating in the fundraiser.  Here are the locations and hours.
