A weak cold front swings through today, sparking off a few showers or a thunderstorm in the morning along the Ohio River. Most of the day will end up mostly sunny. The front will sag south in the afternoon and evening with some thunderstorms popping up in southeastern parts of the state by then.

It will be a warm day with highs near 90 in the northern half of the state and low-90s to the south. The humidity will also drop through the day.

1. Two teens indicted for death of Tyree Smith at a Louisville bus stop

The two teens were arrested in Dec. 2021 and were 16 years old at the time. The two are not only accused of killing Tyree Smith, but also killing another juvenile on Thanksgiving 2021.
